The Devonfield Inn is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast nestled in a lovely location in Lee, MA, in the Berkshire Mountain area. Perfectly situated in a charming, bucolic location, it at first seems to be completely separated from civilization, and yet is (literally) one and five minutes from neighboring town areas, teaming with places to go and things to see. This characteristic arguably affords the best of both worlds: a sanctuary like experience where one can be immersed in peace and quiet, or if one prefers, a stepping stone from where with either a right or left turn from the driveway and in virtually no time, one can be in the midst of restaurants, shops, pubs, ad infinitum.
The owners Bruce and Ronnie are friendly, available, enthusiastic, and are sincerely focused on accommodating visitors to ensure that their stay will be fondly remembered. The breakfasts they serve are quite good as are the snacks and coffee. A very nice touch is the assortment of cordials and brandies that are provided. The grounds are very well maintained, the rooms are very clean, and the bed supremely comfortable. Though we came at a time of year that we could not use the outdoor swimming pool, the entire area, decking, and surroundings are lovely.
Ultimately, the true test of a Bed and Breakfast is whether one would return and stay there again. This test was passed with flying colors, and we genuinely look forward to next visit.

Wow! Loved this place! Just beautiful and so peaceful. The owners were delightful. The public spaces were clean and well stocked. Our room was lovely. We would definitely go there again.
We have been to other places which are much fancier. But no place we've ever stayed has been more warm and inviting.
